8th Grade Science Talent and Talent in Entrepreneurship
We enjoyed an informative and inspiring day at the kick-start which was held at Roskilde Kongrescenter on September 30th, but now it is back to class to work on our solutions which need to be submitted by November 2nd. Students are working in small mixed teams, drawing on their skills sets from both Science and Entrepreneurship.
Such and exciting process and so much to be learnt from authentic problem solving!
Our students are taking part in CoConference 2021. They are back one year older, one year wiser, with experience from last year as 7th graders, and this time with the exciting bonus of being able to take part in person rather than from behind a screen!
CoConference is an innovation workshop where local businesses, organisations and educational institutions come together to find solutions to societal challenges. This is done through cooperation, collaboration and establishing new partnerships. The UN’s goals are addressed in the process with a main focus on sustainability.
This year’s members and their challenges are:
Roskilde Kommune – Workplace of the Future – Post COVID 19
ARGO – Plastic is not just Plastic
Fors – Drinking Water from Green Spaces
Constructa A/S – Energy friendly homes with high well-being and low overall economy.
Boligselskabet Sjælland – Sustainable Living
Roskilde Kongrescenter – Community is Ownership
Videninstitutionerne i Roskilde – The Desire to Learn and Job Satisfaction - Post COVID 19
